Cleaning and Disinfection Recommendations
This article provides some guidelines on cleaning and disinfecting simulators and simulator equipment.
Powering up the RTD
1. Verify a complete set of panels are installed. 2. Turn the Remote Power Switch on the front of the RTD to the ON/OFF position momentarily.
Connecting to the RTD IOS with a Wireless Device
Connect to the RTD Wi-Fi. Enter the Wi-Fi password. Go to 192.168.5.20.
Shutting Down the RTD
Have the flight crew land and perform a normal aircraft shutdown. Turn the Remote Power Switch on the front of the computer cabinet to the ON/OFF position momentarily (if equipped).
Converting Flight Models on the RTD
Shut down the RTD. Remove the panels by loosening the quarter-turn fasteners counter-clockwise, one panel at at time. Install the panels by aligning each panel with the connector and the quarter-turn fasteners on the panel, and then push while tightening a quarter turn clockwise. Power up the RTD.
Control the Volume on the RTD
Change the volume for the RTD by using the controls built into the TV, or by using the TV Remote Control.
