Setting the Initial Startup Position on the RTD

Control the Volume on the RTD

Change the volume for the RTD by using the controls built into the TV, or by using the TV Remote Control.

Converting Flight Models on the RTD

Shut down the RTD. Remove the panels by loosening the quarter-turn fasteners counter-clockwise, one panel at at time. Install the panels by aligning each panel with the connector and the quarter-turn fasteners on the panel, and then push while tightening a quarter turn clockwise. Power up the RTD.

Controlling Opposing ILS with Shared Frequencies

When encountering opposing ILS’s with shared frequencies, one will be on and the other will be off. Navigation stations can be enabled and disabled using the RTD IOS. When enabling the ILS that is currently turned off (disabled), be sure to turn off (disable) the opposing ILS, so that only one is on at a time.
